It is wonderful how you caught the young man looking over. The emotion caught on the older and younger man's face is polarizing and speaks volumes. The use of black and white focuses the viewer's eye on the emotion. Brilliant
The part that creeps me out the most is the eye on the screen. You know how an eye is referred as the "all-seeing eye", a symbol supposedly associated with either God, Horus or surveillance? It's as if the end of our freedom and start of our enslavement is near.
Wow. So fascinating. Just the diverse amount of expressions that everyone has. Such as the man who is looking at the street preacher. The woman who just looks exhausted behind him. The woman with such a pretty happy smile to her right. The kid with his head down staring at the ground. And, of course, the stoic preacher. This mix just makes me wonder what all of their stories are.
The way that you framed the shot so that the eye and the don't walk hand are both in it really adds a lot to the piece as well. This is truly a great piece of art.
I was in town for a mediation - I'm an attorney. Unfortunately, 99% of my time in NY this trip was spent in a hotel room, a restaurant, or a conference room, which is why I have one pic from Times Square (I stayed in Times Square) and four from the window of my hotel room.
